#IGMNL gets to #StayPeculiarPH

It started with an email invite from 20th Century Fox that made us, IGers, say yes right away to attending the Press Screening of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children at Cinema 7, Greenhills Promenade San Juan last September 26, 2016.

The movie is a fantasy adventure film that stars Eva Green, Asa Butterfield, Chris O’Dowd, Allison Janney, Rupert Everett, Terence Stamp, Ella Purnell, Judi Dench and Samuel L. Jackson. The movie is
directed by visionary director Tim Burton based on the 2011 best-selling novel by Ransom Riggs.

The story began when the protagonist, Jake Portman, was forced to travel to a mysterious island to find the truth behind his grandfather’s tragic ‘death’. When Jake discovers clues to a mystery that spans alternate realities and time, his life takes an extraordinary turn. He discovers that his grandfather’s fairytales seemed to be real upon meeting Miss Peregrine and her peculiar children at Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.

But along the way, the fairy tale took an unexpected twist. This has forced Jake to make a life-changing decision to protect his love ones from the monsters of his grandfather’s past .

Discover the world of Miss Peregrine and her peculiar children as the movie opens in cinemas nationwide today, 28-September.
